One of the values which Diocesanas teaches the pupils about is personal values.

For this, it searches to develop in the pupils, families, educators and PAS (Administration & Services Staff) the ability to learn to be:

• more reflective
• to choose with ethical criteria,
• to read the reality from a map beyond the anecdote
• to win in the symbolic dimension
• to be able to integrate silence into our lives, in such a way that we can open ourselves us to otherness and to transcendence and
• to cultivate personal matters that move us to commitment in society.

We dream of an education that pays attention to personal education, in a way that our students can read and understand the reality in which they live and can be open to transcendence.

The “Report to UNESCO” by Jacques Delors, in 1996, indicates four pillars of education: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live with others and learning to be.

Education is not reduced to the transmission of technical and scientific abilities, but points to the development of a type of man and woman who knows how to behave themselves in society.

It is not so much about a presentation of knowledge, but a mediation which favours the growth of all the skills of a person, in such a way that they can build themselves, at the same time and together with others, building the world and society in which they live.

The essential contents of personal values are physical work, emotional integration and opening up to transcendence.

The techniques of personal education are relaxation, breathing, visualisations, artistic expression, music, work with the voice, games and dynamics.
